MIA Skate shop had a cool in-store for Primitive Apparel w/Van Styles, Claudia Sampedro, Rosanna Castillo and Iesha Marie. I got there just on time to get some flicks.
Ms @ClaudiaSampedro_ is a sweetheart. We spoke about Animaniacs, revolutionary dance moves and Atlantis. JK I was more like “Hi, bye, love your work!”![]()
The lovely Rosanna Castillo at MIA Skate Shop
And of course, the man himself, Van Styles. Had a brief chat too. Humble cat, his style of photography is inspiring. I highly recommend his work.
Its been a minute since Id seent Klever. I think the last time I actually saw him was almost 2yrs ago here in Miami. Hes been back since but I couldnt make it out. Friday night he was at the Garret spinning theee most ignorant hood shit there is. Straight dirt South ATL’n. Dirty dirt. It filtered out the untrill and showed who was wearing pannies and who was bout that life.
Some dude walked up to me w/his girl by his side like
“Hey,do you know the dj?”
-Yeah.
“You think you could ask him to play something else, or is he gonna play this all night?”
-Hes a dmc champ, you dont tell him what to play
Then I threw him out the window, and kept his girlfriend.
::trap elbows::
Long story short…
2 hours before they leave (from Miami), I find out I can ride w/them to shoot.
Bust mission to leave gig early so I can meet it on time. Got there on time.
30min in to ride up there, camera wont turn on.
Send out MASSIVE SOS’s the entire trip. Very close to success but in the end, no camera.

Fun trip overall.
Diplo & Friends went down on Saturday, the first weekend of Miami Music Week or WMC depending on how long youve been attending this holiday. Among Diplos “friends” were Dogblood ( Skrillex + Boys Noize) as special guests. Dillon Francis was supposed to perform as well but he didnt make it. All good though cuz as you’ll see in the video, it was one of those nights. Major Lazer took their shirts off, and made ayy’body do the same. God bless all those lovely ladies twerking their hearts out. You are appreciated.
I had the honor of shooting the lovely Sofia Roque’s video debut.
We’ve done several photo shoots together but really wanted to turn things up a notch.
This was a fun, spur of the moment, on the quick fast kinda thing we shot at headquarters.
But we’re quite proud of how it turned out.
Our cutoff logo tee, some music, a whole lotta laughing and you have, magic.
Thank you, Sofia <3
Hilary Coe is a part of the Can Love organization. They take scrapped cans to create new art pieces w/them. Everything from taking the can apart to using residual paint left inside. Dope.
I arrived on planet Earth a week before Art Basel. I met up with space meow Ms Jessica Rivas. We wandered the beach and she captured some excellent footage.
We walked around and I manifested luminescent spheres for my own amusement.
We went hat shopping. What do you think of this hat?!
Although theres no photographic evidence, Jessica inhaled a large pizza by herself. At the pizza spot we met a cool dude nicknamed “Lalo” w/ill custom Peruvian theme tattoos. Interesting fellow. And mad drunk.
We went to da club for a little while after da beach. I got behind the camera and captured Ms Rivas groovin.
Woooo!
Our homie Nick Castellanos decided to make a portrait of Mr. “Popped a Molly Im Sweatin, WOOOOO” himself. Thats correct, Trinidad James.
Nick’s been down since the days of raw turkey sammiches and reggaeTon soup.
He’s a talented fellow. He nurses panda’s back to health, cuts Dwayne Wade and Lebron James hairs, and is also a karate master (he studied under Bruce Lee).
Trinidad James was really pleased w/the art work. He posted it on instagram and it got 90million likes. Lebron James also fux wid it.
Here now are some exclusive photos.
